A Journey of Faith in Prayer is a book of poetry that began as a process of healing. It speaks of the inner journey of a soul connecting with God through creation and Gods creatures. It takes into consideration the plight of souls as they journey to God, meeting God through nature and other people. It empathizes with others on their journey as well as the souls own journey, knowing that belief in the power of God will heal all pain.
Sister Magdala Marie taught many years on the elementary and high school levels and has been vocation and formation director for her congregation as well. She loves to write poetry and short reflection pieces and crossword puzzles.
This book of poetry reflects my thoughts about God, my own personal journey, as well as reflections on the world at large. The preface of this book gives my reason for writing this special piece of work. Poetry takes time, much reflection, and lots of energy, especially when the reflections express the inner workings of the Holy Spirit in one's life.

The poetry written here reflects the human condition; some of us feel good at times and at time not so good. Poetry should reflect the good and the not so good aspect of human existence. No one is perfect although some of us wish that this was so. This perfection would save us from some embarrassing moments and to have to say we are sorry not only to our neighbor but to our God as well.

This book is about our union with God from a biblical and everyday perspective as we interact with God and one another. Basically, it speaks of basic truths as we live our lives out as Christians who believe that all races are intertwined, since we all have the same Creator, and that we should respect each other as children of the same Father. That as children of God, we should help one another become better human beings. This book tries to show that we must love and respect one another because we are all precious in the eyes of God.
